Short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser. Your measurements, cut lists and results never leave your device.
From the calculators: nothing. Every tool on this site is a static page whose arithmetic runs in your browser. What you type is not transmitted, stored or logged by us — close the tab and it is gone.
From serving the pages: like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) receives the standard technical data your browser sends to load a page — IP address, browser type, page requested — and uses it to deliver the page and defend against abuse. We do not build profiles from it.
Cookies and analytics: this site currently sets no cookies and runs no analytics scripts. If that ever changes — for example if advertising is added to keep the tools free — this page will say so plainly, and anything requiring consent will ask for it first.
Site owners may embed our calculators in their own pages using an iframe or our WordPress plugin. The same rules apply there: the embedded page is served by Cloudflare (which sees the standard request data), and the calculator itself uploads nothing.
The tools are planning aids built on published geometry and arithmetic, with sources named where a published reference is used (for example, wood movement coefficients from the USDA Forest Products Laboratory's Wood Handbook). They are not engineering advice: structural work needs span tables, local building regulations and professional judgement. Check every result against the real material before you cut.
